Cherry Almond Granola

One of my favorite nighttime snacks is a BIGGG bowl of cereal (I like mixing rice Chex with granola) or a yogurt bowl with granola. I love Cascadian Farm's granola, but when I'm feeling creative, I love to make my own, especially since it's SO easy! I wanted to try a flavor I've never had before and since I had dried cherries and almond extract on hand, I thought cherry almond granola would be a good choice...and it was!


Here's how to make it...


Ingredients:

3 C rolled oats

1/2 C sliced almonds

1/2 C dried cherries

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/3 C agave

1/3 C avocado oil

1 tsp pure almond extract


Method:

Preheat oven to 275 F. Combine all ingredients in 1 bowl, mixing until everything is evenly coated. Bake for 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
